THE STORY

Big Island-based artist Terry O'Neil was commissioned by the hotel's developer to produce a signature work for the property. She chose a Hawaiian interpretation of the famous "Three Graces" theme in painting and sculpture. Ms. O'Neil was particularly inspired by Sandro Botticelli's (1445-1510) "Primavera." This painting features the three Charites, Greek goddesses personifying beauty and grace, and like
